Clifford G. Dow, Sr., CFA, CFP®, ChFC Investment Broker & Chief Investment Officer
Clifford Dow is a native of, and grew up in, New England. He graduated in 1957 with a Bachelor's degree in physics from Harvard College, and in 1960 with a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Certified Financial Planner, and a graduate of the College for Financial Planning. Clifford started his career in the investment business in 1962 as a securities analyst on Wall Street, and has been in the investment business continuously for over four decades. He is the Chief Investment Officer for Dow Investment Group. For a number of years, as a member of the faculty of the Continuing Education Division of the University of Maine, he taught courses in business management and organization, accounting, business mathematics and statistics, financial management, and policy formulation and administration. CFP® and Certified Financial Planner™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Russell B. Dow, JD Senior Portfolio Manager
Russell Dow serves as the president of Dow Investment Group and has been been actively involved in the investment business for 20 years. He received his law degree in 1993 from the University of Connecticut School of Law; he graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Cornell University with a concentration in mathematics. Russell is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the MSBA Trusts & Estates Section. (Although he is admitted to practice law in the State of Maine, neither Russell nor Dow Investment Group provides legal advice.) Russell has been retained to develop investment education/portfolio management course curricula for the Higher Colleges of Technology CERT program, United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where he will also lecture. The HCT is the preeminent university in the UAE. The courses are based on the Dow Investment Group's investment philosophy. He is the founder of Dow Software Corporation, a developer of investment management computer software for broker/dealers and their advisors. Dow Software's products are used extensively by Dow Investment Group in the management of client accounts. As well, Russell is a partner and president of Dow Commercial Properties. Russell and his wife Dr. Krisztina Sebok live in Falmouth, Maine.

Clifford G. Dow, Jr. Investment Broker Clifford Dow, Jr. attended Colby College and the University of Maine, from which he graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. An investment broker since 1989, he is a managing director of Dow Investment Group and is the firm's vice president. As well, Clifford is a partner and vice president of Dow Commercial Properties. Cliff lives in New Gloucester with his family. He is an avid outdoorsman and pilot, maintaining his own aircraft and landing strip (54ME) at his farm. |

Michael V. Dow, MBA Investment Broker Managing Director Michael Dow received his Masters in Business Administration from Boston University's Graduate School of Management in 1995. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Boston University in 1991. Michael has been an investment broker since graduating. He is an instructor on the subject of investing for a number of local communities’ adult education programs, and he, also, conducts public investment seminars throughout southern, central, and eastern Maine. He is also a managing director of Dow Investment Group. |

Financial Advisor Certified Financial Planner™ William Dow graduated in 1992 from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Bill has been an investment broker since 1991 and is a managing director and chief financial officer of Dow Investment Group. For a number of years, he served as President of The Portland Club and was a longstanding member of that organization's board of directors. |

Paul O. Hsiao Chief Financial Officer Paul Hsiao graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and music. He brings broad experience to Dow Investment Group with his background in financial services, business development, and entrepreneurship. Paul is also an accomplished violist and orchestral director. He has conducted numerous orchestras including Opus during a tour in Europe and the Bowdoin College Orchestra. |

Richard E. Louis Richard Louis provides his clients with comprehensive investment services including retirement planning and portfolio management. As an avid entrepreneur, Rick has successfully created and sold a variety of businesses in Florida. Early in his career, he received a presidential appointment as a Chief of Staff in the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Reagan administration. Rick is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. As an active member of his local community, Rick is proud to serve on the Salvation Army Advisory Board for Sarasota and has previously headed the Venice Advisory Board as its chairman. Rick is an accomplished musician, enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, and is a private pilot. He is located in Sarasota, Florida.

Avard M. Dow, Jr. Senior Financial Advisor/Portfolio Manager Avard Dow, Jr. is a financial advisor and options strategist with over 40 years of investment experience. Avard did his undergraduate studies in psychology and pre-med at the University of Maine, Orono. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Finance and the Goethe Institute, Germany. Avard lives in Naples, Maine on Long Lake, where he pursues his interest in gemstone mining and high performance race boats. |

Donald E. Gilbert III, MBA Financial Advisor Ted is a 1995 graduate of Bowdoin College and the 2002 Indiana University MBA program where he participated in a Kauffman Entrepreneur Internship. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Investment Management at Boston University School of Management. Ted began his career with Paine Webber in 1996 and has also worked as a Surveillance Analyst and member of the IPO Roadshow Deal team with The Carson Group (now part of Thomson Financial) in New York. Ted worked as an Investment Analyst with the Private Banking group of Cape Cod Bank & Trust (now part of TD Banknorth Wealth Management). In addition to enjoying the outdoors and living in Maine, Ted has a strong interest in boats, as he is a graduate of the Yacht Design Program at The Landing School.

Gerald A. Guild
Gerry Guild is recognized nationally as an authority on bonds and portfolio strategy. He has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Financial World, Money, and Business Week. His TV appearances include Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, CNNfn, NBC, and Reuters. A graduate of Brown University with a degree in economics, Gerry began his career on Wall Street in 1961. He served as the Chief Fixed Income Strategist and Director at Advest from 1984 to 2002. Gerry is a Senior Analyst with the New York Society of Security Analysts covering fixed income analysis, microeconomics, portfolio strategy, and asset allocation. He has served as an Arbitrator for FINRA and the New York Stock Exchange since 1996 is an Adjunct Instructor for Fixed Income Securities at the New York University Finance Law and Taxation School of Continuing and Professional Studies. As well, Gerry is a contributing author for the book, "Expert Financial Planning," by Robert C. Arffa, M.D. and a Life Member of Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc.

Wayne Schaab Financial Advisor Wayne Schaab has been in the investment business continuously for over 20 years. After working for a major national brokerage firm, Wayne concluded that it was in the best interest of his clients to work with an independent firm. In joining Dow Investment Group, he specializes in customized portfolios, with a focus on portfolio income.
As a Canadian native, Wayne attended the University of British Columbia before playing in the professional hockey leagues for 13 years. He enjoyed particular success with the Maine Mariners, becoming a local celebrity. Notably, Wayne holds the distinction of being the first Maine Mariner to have had his jersey retired.
Wayne and his wife Cindy have three children and live in South Portland.

Barbara A. Dow Administration Investment Research Barbara Dow is the wife of Clifford, Sr. and mother of their four children. Barbara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Maine. She attended Vanderbilt University and Bates College. Additionally, she attended Sadler's Wells Ballet School in London and, for a number of years, taught ballet. Barbara assists Dow Investment Group in special research projects, helping to assemble data which have been the basis for many of the investment papers authored by Cliff, Sr. |
