Clifford G. Dow, Sr., CFA, CFP®, ChFC Investment Broker & Chief Investment Officer
Clifford Dow is a native of, and grew up in, New England. He graduated in 1957 with a Bachelor's degree in physics from Harvard College, and in 1960 with a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Certified Financial Planner, and a graduate of the College for Financial Planning. Cliff, Sr. started his career in the investment business in 1962 as a securities analyst on Wall Street, and has been in the investment business continuously for over four decades. Cliff Sr. is currently the chief investment officer for Dow Investment Group. For a number of years, as a member of the faculty of the Continuing Education Division of the University of Maine, he taught evening courses in business management and organization, accounting, business mathematics and statistics, financial management, and policy formulation and administration. CFP® and Certified Financial Planner™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Clifford G. Dow, Jr. Investment Broker Clifford Dow, Jr. attended Colby College and the University of Maine, from which he graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. An investment broker since 1989, he is a managing director of Dow Investment Group and is the firm's vice president. Cliff lives in New Gloucester with his family. He is an avid outdoorsman and pilot, maintaining his own aircraft and landing strip (54ME) at his farm. |

Russell B. Dow, J.D.
Financial Advisor/Investment Broker Russell Dow received his law degree in 1993 from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Cornell University with a concentration in mathematics. Russell has been an investment broker since 1990 and holds his series 7 and 65 securities licenses. He is president of Dow Investment Group, a member of the Maine State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the MSBA Trusts & Estates Section. He is the founder of Dow Software Corporation, a developer of investment management computer software for broker/dealers and their advisors. Dow Software's products are used extensively by Dow Investment Group in the management of client accounts. Russell lives in Falmouth where he is an active member of the community.

Michael V. Dow, M.B.A. Investment Broker Managing Director Michael Dow received his Masters in Business Administration from Boston University's Graduate School of Management in 1995. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Boston University in 1991. Michael has been an investment broker since graduating. He is an instructor on the subject of investing for a number of local communities’ adult education programs, and he, also, conducts public investment seminars throughout southern, central, and eastern Maine. He is also a managing director of Dow Investment Group. |

William C. Dow
Financial Advisor William Dow graduated in 1992 from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Bill has been an investment broker since 1991 and is a managing director and chief financial officer of Dow Investment Group. He is President of The Portland Club and a longstanding member of that organization's board of directors. As well, Bill serves on the board of directors of the Breakwater School, a private non-profit school in Portland, Maine. |

Avard M. Dow, Jr. Senior Financial Advisor/Portfolio Manager Avard Dow, Jr. is a financial advisor and options strategist with over 40 years of investment experience. Avard did his undergraduate studies in psychology and pre-med at the University of Maine, Orono. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Finance and the Goethe Institute, Germany. Avard lives in Naples, Maine on Long Lake, where he pursues his interest in gemstone mining and high performance race boats. |

Jeffrey P. Russell, J.D. Investment Broker A Maine native and resident of Hampden, Jeff is a veteran in the industry of taking care of clients. Jeff graduated from Colby College in 1987 with a degree in history. Shortly thereafter he began his career in client relations with Colby's Office of Alumni Relations prior to attending Maine Law School. Jeff practiced law with the firm of Preti Flaherty until 1996 when he joined a company as a specialist in international and domestic aviation marketing and client development. Jeff has two children and enjoys flying antique airplanes. |

Donald E. Gilbert III, M.B.A. Investment Broker Ted is a 1995 graduate of Bowdoin College and the 2002 Indiana University MBA program where he participated in a Kauffman Entrepreneur Internship. Ted began his career with Paine Webber in 1996 and has also worked as a Surveillance Analyst and member of the IPO Roadshow Deal team with The Carson Group (now part of Thomson Financial) in New York. Ted worked as an Investment Analyst with the Private Banking group of CCBT Financial (now part of TD Banknorth Wealth Management) on Cape Cod. In addition to enjoying the outdoors and living in Maine, Ted has a strong interest in boats. He is a graduate of the Yacht Design Program at The Landing School and a volunteer for the Compass Project.

Matthew R. Landry Operations Manager Matt Landry received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Ithaca College, and he holds a certificate in planning and development from the Muskie School of Public Policy at the University of Southern Maine. Matt has his Series 7, 9, and 10 securities industry licenses. In addition to being the firm's operations manager, Matt handles many additional supervisory functions ensuring that all daily operations comply with industry regulations. Matt is an active member of The Portland Club. He enjoys running, rowing, and a good game of pool.

Paul O. Hsiao Vice President of Corporate Development Paul Hsiao graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and music. He brings broad experience to Dow Investment Group with his background in financial services, business development, and entrepreneurship. Paul is also an accomplished violist and orchestral director. He has conducted numerous orchestras including Opus during a tour in Europe and the Bowdoin College Orchestra. |

Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino Vice President of Administration and Client Relations Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from St. Ambrose University in Iowa. She has held various positions in the financial industry over the past 15 years. She began her career with Merrill Corporation in St. Paul, Minnesota and has chaired numerous conferences with the Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the EDGAR system. Elizabeth was also Mrs Maine USA 2006 and is appointed by First Lady Karen Baldacci as an ambassador to Maine Reads. She lives in Falmouth with her four boys and her husband Peter.

Nicole Xianghua Dow, MTS Internal Accounting Investment Research Nicole is a graduate of Nankai University in Tianjin, China. She holds her Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Harvard Divinity School, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting. Nicole handles Dow Investment Group's internal accounting and special research projects.

Barbara A. Dow Administration Investment Research Barbara Dow is the wife of Clifford, Sr. and mother of their four children. Barbara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Maine. She attended Vanderbilt University and Bates College. Additionally, she attended Sadler's Wells Ballet School in London and, for a number of years, taught ballet. Barbara assists Dow Investment Group in special research projects, helping to assemble data which have been the basis for many of the investment papers authored by Cliff, Sr. |
